iPhone Feature Request: Copy ‘Skip Lock Screen’ feature from Google’s Pixel 4

Face Unlock on Google’s Pixel 4 is less secure than the iPhone’s Face ID, but it does have one feature I’d like to see Apple copy: Skip Lock Screen.

Copying that would be perfectly fair, as Google has recently confirmed that it will be copying at least part of Face ID’s Require Attention feature…

The Pixel 4 will copy Require AttentionLike Apple’s iPhone X, XS, and 11, Google’s new flagship Pixel 4 smartphone can unlock by recognizing your face. However, the company quickly came under fire when it was revealed that the device can be unlocked even when the owner is asleep, simply by someone else holding it up to their face.

With iPhones, there is a Requires Attention toggle. When this is on, your iPhone will only unlock if your eyes are open and you are actually looking at the screen. Google has now said that it plans to copy at least the first part of this requirement.

Google this evening confirmed to The Verge that it’s “been working on an option for users to require their eyes to be ope…

Review PlayStation TV

Sony PlayStation has conducted a series of devices that have changed the way we play games and video experience.

In 1994, PlayStation introduced us to the PlayStation console 1. As the console grew in popularity throughout Africa and the world and the company then decided, as technology has evolved, would release the PlayStation 2 in March 2000. The PlayStation 2 became the best-selling game console in history, selling more than 155 million units. In 2006, Sony unveiled the PlayStation PlayStation 3, which also grew in popularity in recent years. No signs of leaving the world of games ago, Sony PlayStation then unveiled the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 was released in 2013 and has currently sold over 18.5 million consoles.

Fast forward 2014/2015 (depending on the country you live in) and Sony has now released the PlayStation TV. The PlayStation TV is essentially a micro-console, which allows you to play games on Vita, PSP and PS One classics on your TV. Along with this, the PlayStation TV also features a Game Hub Remote for PlayStation 4. This essentially eliminates the need for a secondary console PlayStation 4, which was a good move from one side of Sony.

Review PlayStation TV

How exactly? Well, imagine coming home after a long day at work and all I want to do is play the last title AAA to go on sale. However, as soon as you walk through the door, you realize that television has been occupied by your significant other - or children. In most cases you physically move the console to another part of the house in order to avoid disruption, but with the PlayStation TV no need to move your main PlayStation 4. Once launched in the same Wi -fi, the PlayStation TV can be connected to any TV in the house (provided you have an HDMI port and is within range of the signal from your Wi-Fi device). This essentially allows convey what is happening in your PlayStation 4 console to your micro-console PlayStation TV.

While this is a great move by Sony PlayStation, there were however some problems that collected us. The PlayStation TV does a great job of streaming PlayStation 4 games; However, a quite exceptional Wi-Fi is needed for it to run smoothly - especially if both devices are quite a distance from each other. If too far apart, the PlayStation TV or disconnect it from the PlayStation 4, or you will experience a significant amount of lag. Fortunately, the PlayStation TV supports a wired connection, it tends to make a much better counter-party to its wireless work.

Run the device on a cable connection eliminates most of the lag, but a slowdown in the rate occurs occasionally. While cable is probably the best way to go, when streaming content over the network, you may have to resort to installing network cables throughout the house. Of course, this is not an ideal approach; however, it did not exceed the payment of an extra R6299 for a PlayStation 4 secondary.

Once connected, you will notice that the interface of the PlayStation TV is remarkably similar to the interface appears on the PlayStation Vita. While this interface works quite well on the Vita, without the option of touch screen, it becomes a little more difficult to navigate while using a DualShock 3 or DualShock controller 4. Having a streamlined interface would make the PlayStation experience TV much better and should be something to consider by Sony. To add to this, some content and games that appear on the Vita are not fully compatible with the PlayStation TV. On the positive side, content and games that are compatible will look fantastic on the big screen, especially when running at 1080i.

While the PlayStation TV will definitely be a success for PlayStation 4 owners, the device is not completely new when used as a standalone device. Yes playing games Vita, PSP and PS One classics and allows streaming PlayStation 4, but the amount of content available for it is not quite enough for now. To add to this, as it diffuses it is practically limited to games streaming only. This is due to the fact that PlayStation TV does not allow you to play Blu-Ray movies and stream content from many traditional applications, such as YouTube we use everyday. Of course, there may be restrictions on content as well as a mass amount of data flowing through the network, but it is something that Sony should perhaps consider implementing as it will make the PlayStation TV a force to be reckoned with.

One thing I can not fault the TV on PlayStation is its design. Sony honestly know how to build a console. Granted the PlayStation One was not the most attractive console, but everything from the PlayStation 2 era to the PlayStation TV has always had an elegant, sturdy and attractive design. When looking at the PlayStation TV, you can see that Sony had elegance in mind. It is certainly a beautiful device and measures 66 x 104 x 127 mm. By looking at the back of the PlayStation TV will find an HDMI port, USB port, microSD slot and an Ethernet port connection. Looking to the right of the PlayStation TV, is a slot where you can place you PS Vita cards too.

In general, when it comes to build quality, due to its extraordinary small form factor, the PlayStation TV looks great when it was created in a wall unit and placed next to a TV. While the PlayStation TV may not be the best option for independent console, however extend over the overall experience when it comes to Sony PlayStation 4 console.

PlayStation 4 console

conclusion:
As a standalone device, the PlayStation television is not something that is innovative; However, when combined with the PlayStation 4 becomes a revolutionary device that completely eliminates the need to buy a secondary 4. PlayStation To add to this is attractively priced as well, which is set at R1499 (depending on the store) .

While the PlayStation TV has its ups and downs, it's a big step forward when it comes to the world of video games. Just be aware that a fairly strong router is required if you are using the device wirelessly. For a better overall experience, we recommend connecting the device to a wired connection.

When it comes to design, Sony PlayStation has hit the nail on the head time and time again with the design not only your console, but the PlayStation TV too. It is elegant, sexy and looks great on any TV cabinet.

When it comes to the user interface (UI), the PlayStation TV itself is a bit difficult to navigate, but tend to get used to the UI after using the device a few times. Along with this, once Sony makes applications available for the system and compatible games, you definitely have an extraordinary piece of technology in your arsenal.

We now have a good idea how the iPhone 8 will work with no home button
Apple is widely suspected to unveil three new iPhones at a September event: the iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus, and the highly anticipated iPhone 8.
All rumors point to the latter being a radical redesign of the device—one that includes and edge-to-edge screen with very thin bezels, which would mean the home button, a fundamental of iPhone design since the first model debuted in 2007, is going away.

Google collects face data now. Here's what it means and how to opt out

Google's new Face Match technology isn't everywhere yet, but it's always looking. Find out what's happening with your face data and what you can do stop it.

Google's latest smart display brings with it a controversial new feature that's always watching. Face Match, introduced on the Google Nest Hub Max, uses the smart display's front-facing camera as a security feature and a way to participate in video calls. It also shows you your photos, texts, calendar details and so on when it recognizes your face.
This mode of facial recognition sounds simple enough at first. But the way companies like Google collect, store and process face data has become a top concern for privacy-minded consumers. Plenty of people want to know who has their personal information once it makes its way into the cloud.

Here's a look at how Google and other tech companies record, save, process and use facial recognition data collected by devices such as the Nest Hub Max, as well as s…
