Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 prepares to launch as support pages go live

Samsung's next smartwatch might be around the corner as it skips the Galaxy Watch 2.

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Watch 3, the sequel to its Galaxy Watch (it'll be skipping the Watch 2). Support pages for four variants of the upcoming wearable have popped up in Korea (spotted by MySmartPrice via *MSPowerUser*.) Unfortunately, these are just place-holders with little to no information on them other than the model numbers SM-R840NZKAKOO, SM-R840NZSAKOO, SM-R850NZDAKOO, and SM-R850NZSAKOO.

We do know a little bit about this upcoming smartwatch as per earlier Sammobile reports, Samsung is expected to launch the handset in Stainless Steel and Titanium models with Gorilla Glass DX protection. It will also ship with a heart rate monitor, a sleep tracker, and an ECG. Connectivity-wise, you'll probably find GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and LTE onboard. Wrapping it up, there's 8GB of storage and a 330 mAh battery to keep things running.

When reviewing the Watch Active 2 this year, Android Central's Andrew Martonik concluded:

From interaction with the watch to simply wearing it, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is great. If you can get around the limited third-party apps, not having a capable voice assistant on board, and don't have as strict a set of notification requirements as I do, then you'll be delighted with this smartwatch. It's a health and fitness-focused device that looks far better than a basic fitness tracker, and it can do as much or as little as you choose.

It'll be interesting to see how the Watch 3 lives up to its predecessor after launch.

Slack’s new integration deal with AWS could also be about tweaking Microsoft

Slack and Amazon announced a big integration late yesterday afternoon.
