How to request a refund for Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and PS5

PlayStation is notoriously bad at customer support when it comes to refund requests, so you'll need to be patient.

Cyberpunk 2077 runs like garbage on PS4 and Xbox One. There's just no other way to say it. Our own Cyberpunk 2077 review mentions the persistent bugs that still plague the game on PS5 through backward compatibility.

While CD Projekt RED had previously acknowledged the problems and stated that everyone can request a refund on PS4, PlayStation Support hasn't always been helpful to customers in the past, so refunds weren't guaranateed. After a few days of inconsistent refunds, Sony officially said it would be offering refunds and delisting the game from the PlayStation Store until further notice. All you have to confirm you bought the game via the PlayStation store and the company will bein processing the refund. There is a form available, or you can follow the steps below.

How to request a refund on Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 and PS5

  1. Go to playstation.com/en-us/support/store/ps-store-refund-request/.
  2. Click on Refund Chatbot that is highlighted on the page.

  3. In the window that opens up, select Refund Request.

  4. Select I'm Ready.

  5. If you qualify for a refund after answering seven questions regarding what you're looking to refund and the account which was charged, you'll be redirected to an actual support agent.
  6. Take note of the Support ID you are given.

  7. Select Next.
  8. Select Yes when asked if you'd like to speak to a live agent.

  9. At this point, the agent will determine whether you get a refund or not.

Sony's refund policy states:

After purchasing this type of content through PlayStation Store, you have 14 days from purchase to request a refund. If you have started to download or stream the purchased content you will not be eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty.

Should you have any issues, CD Projekt RED says you can also contact the studio at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com where you will have until Dec. 21, 2020 to request a refund on your game. If you purchased a physical copy, you should try to request a refund from the retailer you purchased it from.

There are dozens of great dining options within a few blocks of my home, yet I still end up ordering food through delivery apps four or five times per week. With the growing coronavirus pandemic closing restaurants and consumers self-isolating, it is likely we will see a spike in food delivery much like the 20% jump China reported during the peak of its crisis. With the food delivery sector rocketing toward a projected $365 billion by the end of the decade, I’m clearly not the only one turning to delivery apps even before the pandemic hit. Thanks to technology (and VC funding) we can get a ri

Slack’s new integration deal with AWS could also be about tweaking Microsoft

Slack and Amazon announced a big integration late yesterday afternoon. As part of the deal, Slack will use Amazon Chime for its call feature, while reiterating its commitment to use AWS as its preferred cloud provider to run its infrastructure. At the same time, AWS has agreed to use Slack for internal communications. Make no mistake, this is a big deal as the SaaS communications tool increases its ties with AWS, but this agreement could also be about slighting Microsoft and its rival Teams product by making a deal with a cloud rival. In the past Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield has had choice words for Microsoft saying the Redmond technology giant sees his company as an “existential threat.” Whether that’s true or not — Teams is but one piece of a huge technology company — it’s impossible not to look at the deal in this context. Aligning more deeply with AWS sends a message to Microsoft, whose Azure infrastructure services compete with AWS. Butterfield didn’t say that of course
