How to play PUBG: New State with friends

In addition to battle royale, New State features 4v4 Team Deathmatch among other multiplayer modes.

PUBG: New State is out for Android and iOS devices, giving a futuristic spin to the popular battle royale franchise. While its bread and butter is its 100-player battle royale map, New State also features 4v4 modes like Team Deathmatch, allowing you to team up with friends and compete against other players.

Like PUBG Mobile, New State doesn't fully support controllers, meaning you can't use some of the best mobile controllers out there to play with your friends. If you're okay with touch controls, then hop on in.

How to add friends in PUBG: New State

You can add as many friends as you want, but keep in mind that you can only team up with up to three other players at a time.

  1. On the left of the lobby screen, select Add Friend if you don't have any yet.

    • If you do have friends and want to add another, select the icon in the upper right.

  2. Select Add Friend in the lower right hand corner.
  3. Enter the username of the friend you want to add.
  4. Select Add.

  5. Select Send Request.

Alternatively, if you link your Facebook account you can search for friends that way too. Simply select the Facebook toggle at the top of the friends page.

Before creating an account, you'll also be given the option to sign in using your Gmail account or Facebook account. If you want to make the process easier and are fine logging in with Facebook, you can choose to do that first.

How to invite and play with friends in PUBG: New State

Team up

The best part about multiplayer games is playing with friends, and PUBG: New State lets you invite them easily to your game. It's had a bit of a rocky launch with server issues and other bugs, but the developer has already implemented updates and done server maintenance to improve performance across all devices. With a roadmap of content planned, PUBG: New State is here to stay.

Team up and play with friends

PUBG: New State isn't without its issues, but a game like this is always better when played with friends. Like the main game, 100 players are dropped onto a map to fight for survival.

FCC approves broadband 'nutrition labels' to help you shop for internet

The FCC is pushing nutrition labels for internet providers. What you need to know The FCC has voted to move forward with new rules for ISPs to display nutrition labels. The proposed rulemaking would mandate ISPs to display relevant speed and pricing information to consumers. This should make it easier for consumers to make an informed decision on their broadband. The FCC voted unanimously on a plan that would allow consumers to make better decisions about their broadband internet. The proposal will require internet service providers (ISPs) - including many of the best wireless carriers in the U.S. — to display "nutrition labels" that display relevant service information for consumers at point-of-sale. This includes internet speeds, allowances, and clear information on rates. "If you walk into any grocery store and pull boxes of cereal from the shelves, you can easily compare calories and carbohydrates," FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said in a statemen

Follow these steps to connect a Pro Controller to your Android phone

Playing games on your smartphone is one of the best ways to entertain yourself. However, it can be tough to play with some games when you're just tapping on a screen. Fortunately, it's possible to sync up a traditional controller. That's where it's nice to connect your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and get playing on the best gaming phones . Duke Nukem is getting a movie from some guys who could actually pull it off

The one true Duke. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have no idea who Duke Nukem even is — that’s how hard the classic video game franchise cratered a decade ago. Today, the character is mostly known as a punchline for video game vaporware jokes, about how Duke Nukem Forever spent 14 years in development hell only to become a huge flop. And yet for years now, Duke’s corporate owners have been whispering that a movie is coming, culminating in The Hollywood Reporter ’s story today : Legendary Entertainment has tapped Cobra Kai creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg to actually produce a feature film. I don’t quite know how to react! As a gamer who actually quite liked Duke Nukem , Duke Nukem II and Duke Nukem 3D, I absolutely agree that this movie should never be made because Duke Nukem has no depth and no story and was always designed to be a caricature .
