How's the battery life on your Google Pixel 4a?

Chatting with the AC forums. We've talked a lot about the Pixel 4a since its release earlier this year, and for good reason. It's one of the very best values the market has to offer right now, delivering a great display, performance, cameras, and more for just $350. Following the horrendous battery life of the Pixel 4, we've been quite pleased with how the 4a handles a full day of use. It doesn't have the absolute best endurance we've ever seen, but it's proven to be more than capable of getting through a full day without any problems. Taking a look through the AC forums, here's what other Pixel 4a owners have to say about their battery experience: TgeekB 10-21-2020 10:34 AM “ I would consider myself a moderate user. Text, email, news, weather, music, etc. I easily get though a day. Reply vzwuser76 10-21-2020 04:56 PM “ I've been getting excellent battery life compared to previous devices. Most of my use is over WiFi, but the

Google Pixel 4a 5G vs. iPhone 12 mini: Which should you buy?

Such a good deal Google Pixel 4a 5G $499 at Amazon Pros Excellent performance for the price Consistently great cameras Reliable battery life Has a 3.5mm headphone jack Much more affordable Cons No water resistance Doesn't have wireless charging The Pixel 4a 5G has an odd existence between the regular Pixel 4a and Pixel 5, but there's no denying how much value it brings to the table. Tiny powerhouse iPhone 12 mini From $699 at Apple Pros It's so small! Google Pixel 4a review: The best camera under $400 is a perfect 2020 phone

The encore to the Pixel 3a's affordable excellence is still brilliant. Google's several attempts at making own-branded phones has returned few victories, but one of the clear bright spots was last year's Pixel 3a . It turns out that Google's "less is more" approach really fits well within the constraints of a less-expensive phone, and its strengths in software and camera processing stand out against less-refined competition. It can easily be argued that its successor, the Pixel 4a , is the more important device for building the Pixel brand than the upcoming higher-end Pixel 5 . And on the face of it, Google did things right this year: it simplified to a single phone, improved the specs, kept the great camera, and dropped $50 off the price. That makes an enticing package — here's how it all works. At a glance Google Pixel 4a Bottom line : The Pixel 4a is the new budget camera quality leader — but it doesn't stop there. It has a larger s

Widgets and icon packs are fun, but a simple home screen is the way to go

My phone is a tool, nothing more. Ever since iOS 14 made its public debut on September 16, there's been a surge in interest around home screen customization. iPhone users now have the opportunity to truly personalize their phone for the very first time, Android folks are finding a renewed interest in tweaking their setups, and my Twitter feed has been endlessly filled with people sharing their unique creations for the world to see. It's been pretty great. Like many of you reading this, one of the things that initially attracted me to Android over iOS was the sheer amount of customization the platform gives you. Looking back to the days of my Nexus 5 and Moto X (2013), I remember customizing those phones to the nth degree. I'd use custom widget makers, have multiple icon packs installed at any given time, switch between launchers on a fairly regular basis, and had a lot of fun with Xposed Framework modules (specifically, changing the icons for on-screen navigation buttons
