The profiles act as a virtual business card, letting you choose what information people see when they search for you. What you need to knowGoogle is currently testing a feature called 'Profile Cards' for its search engine. These show up a small widget that appear at the top of the results page whenever someone searches for your name. You can also customize it to show only the information you want.Google is seemingly working on a virtual business card-like feature for its search engine. The new 'Profile Cards' show up as a small card at the top of the results page when someone searches for you by name. They function similar to the cards that Google will throw up to the right of the page when you search for a famous person/organization.While Google has not yet announced the feature, it was discovered by Android Police on support pages on Google's website. These have, unsurprisingly, now been taken down. When Google finally rolls them out officially, …

Why Apple will probably announce the iPhone 11 on Sept. 10

We were correct: Apple will unveil the iPhone 11 on Sept. 10.
On Thursday, Aug. 29 Apple finally sent out invites for its iPhone 11 launch event. We were right! The iPhone 11 will launch on Sept. 10 in Cupertino. What follows is our original prediction piece below.
Though Apple hasn't set out invitations to any iPhone events yet, the tech giant needs to whip up something exciting if it wants to get users hyped about the next iPhone 11, 11R and 11 Max (or whatever they'll be called). With iPhone sales falling 12% in the fiscal third quarter, profits expected to dip to $9.6 billion and more people trading in their iPhones for Androids, Apple needs to make sure its new flagship phones are compelling enough to draw new customers or keep current customers updated. Not to mention, its main rival Samsung took the wraps off its Note 10, Note 10 Plus and Note 10 5G on Aug. 7, and the phones are looking pretty great so far.

The 10 best smartphone you can buy now

pick the best smartphone in the world is always a) incredibly hard and b) super fun. Fortunately. Since this is an iOS-centric site, you expect a Apple iPhone with the number 1 and they were right. But this is not sycophantic - in my other life as a producer and presenter of the phones show I do regularly top 5 features - and an iPhone is always in the top, because it is a top specced telephone, can be recommended as a response to the question "What should I buy a phone" without real precautions or possible recriminations. There are multiple iPhones here, plus more Android units, of course. And I would like to still stuck in one of the new flagship Lumias, with the exception that you still have a week away. Maybe next time.

Oh yes, and its rules of procedure. It would be a bit crazy to allow multiple iPhones in the exact same form factor in the top 10. So I do not allowed me to have both the "6s" and "6", for example. Ditto for the '6s Plus". It …

iPhone 8 Concept has US fighter a time machine

Wait, what? Apple just released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but instead of looking forward to the iPhone 7, we are talking of the iPhone in August? Well, okay then.
Conceptual artists can do whatever they want, and are happy to review the visions of what the future might think looks like. Case in point is a new concept developed by Behance iPhone in August and an artist named "Steel Drake." Actually, it seems to pull some design cues from the iPhone 4, note the rear window, but then takes some of the design changes we have seen since that version.

The concept has rounded edges and refined the latest iPhone models iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, while also appearing in mainstream touch technology identification. In addition, we are loving the shoulders, where the antennas are hidden in the form of a decidedly robotic future. Also, gone are the striped antenna arguably deterred from designing other cleanly on the latest models of Apple iPhone, and the camera is again flush with the …
