Deebot OZMO T8 AIVI's camera allows for accurate cleaning and monitoring

Image
The on-board camera allows the unit to identify and avoid objects in its path for more accurate cleaning. It also allows you to check in on your home or pets while you're away. Robot vacuum companies are constantly trying to find ways to distinguish their products from others while also making them more effective cleaners. As such, new technologies and abilities are frequently getting developed for these devices. One of the newest features to hit the robot vacuum industry is an on-board camera, which theoretically allows the unit to better identify and avoid objects in its path. The Ecovacs Robotics Deebot OZMO T8 AIVI is one such vacuum that has been designed with a camera. I've spent several weeks evaluating this unit to see just how well it maneuvers around objects and cleans my home. It's definitely a powerful device that I can trust to effectively pick up dirt and debris from my floors, but it does have a few downsides. Here's my review of the Ecovacs Robotic

Image
Global smartphone production could see a record fall of up to 16.5 percent in the second quarter of this year, according to the latest research by TrendForce . Global production for 2Q20 is now estimated to register another YoY drop of 16.5% to 287 million units, the largest decline on record for a given quarter. TrendForce forecasts total yearly production volume of 1.24 billion units, an 11.3% decrease YoY. Worldwide smartphone production for the first quarter reportedly fell by 10 percent year on year to around 280 million units, the lowest in five years, due to disruptions across the supply chain caused by the global health crisis. However, ‌iPhone‌ production fell by 8.7 percent year on year in

Now, over a century later, a new group of scientists backed by government-owned international investment funds and some of the world’s wealthiest men and women is trying to save the world from their invention. In the hundred years since companies began manufacturing fertilizer at an industrial scale, the chemical has become one of the main sources of the pollution that’s choking the planet and putting millions of the lives its use has helped to feed at risk from severe droughts, fires, floods, and storms caused by climate change. That’s why investors including Breakthrough Energy Ventures (the investment fund backed by Mukesh Ambani, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Masayoshi Son) and the Singapore-owned investment fund Temasek along with DCVC ; Prelude Ventures ;

Google launched its second-generation Pixel Buds this week to generally favorable reviews, thanks in part to a couple of new features that AirPods owners have appreciated for some time. The new Pixel Buds use a pairing process on Android 6.0+ phones called Fast Pair: Hold the case near your phone, flip the lid, and a screen pops up on the screen to indicate automatic pairing, which links them to the user's Google account. Apart from the obvious UI differences, that's pretty much identical to the way you connect a pair of AirPods to iPhone . But the similarities don't stop there. Google is also making it easier to find misplaced Pixel Buds. From Google's blog : It can be frustrating when you put your Bluetooth headphones down and immediately forget where you placed them. If they’re connected to your phone, you can locate your headphones by ringing them… And, when you misplace your headphones, in the coming months, you can check their last known location in the Fi
