Image
Samsung is expected to launch two new foldable smartphones in the second half of the year. An affordable foldable handset model is expected to hit the market next year, industry insiders said on Sunday. Samsung is expected to present the Galaxy Fold 2 and the 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip together with its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 20 at an event in August, the news agency Yonhap reported, citing the industry sources. But his affordable foldable smartphone, probably called the Galaxy Fold Lite, is unlikely to make its debut at the event, they said.
The South Korean technology giant was said to have released a version of its foldable smartphone that costs almost half the price of a normal Galaxy Fold. Technical experts have predicted that the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a 7.7-inch screen and a 6.23-inch cover display when unfolded, both of which are larger than the 7.3-inch or 4.6-inch displays of the predecessor. iPhone 12 Dummy Unit Images Feature iPad Pro-Style Design

Image
Leaker Sonny Dickson has today shared several images depicting what he claims are dummy units of Apple's upcoming iPhone 12 lineup.

Images of iPhone dummy units usually appear every year, just a few months ahead of Apple's usual September-October launch timeframe. They are usually based on CAD schematics sourced from the Chinese supply chain, much like the molds leaked last week. Such dummies are often used to aid case-makers before the official reveal.

The images mostly conform with details we already know, with the device sporting an iPad Pro-style design with flat edges. Apple is expected to launch four iPhones this year, across three sizes of 5.4, 6.1, and 6.7 inches. Dickson's images give a clear comparison of the three new sizes.

The camera setups, however, do not mirror what is expected. Previous leaks have largely agreed that the two ‌iPhone 12‌ models in 5.4 and 6.1 inches will have dual camera setups, while the two ‌iPhone 12‌ Pro models in 6.1 and 6.7 inches wil…

16-Inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iMac Pro With Mini-LED Displays Again Rumored to Launch in 2021

Apple plans to release several higher-end devices with Mini-LED displays in 2021, including a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro in the first quarter, a new 16-inch MacBook Pro in the second quarter, and a new 27-inch iMac in the second half of the year, according to Jeff Pu, an analyst at Chinese research firm GF Securities.

This timeframe lines up with one shared by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who recently said that Apple suppliers are slated to begin mass production of related components between the fourth quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021, suggesting that the majority if not all of the Mini-LED devices will be released next year.

A few months ago, Kuo said that Apple plans to release six Mini-LED products by the end of 2021, including 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, a 27-inch iMac Pro, a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, a 10.2-inch iPad, and a 7.9-inch ‌iPad‌ mini. The analyst said these displays will allow for thinner and lighter product designs, while offering many of the same benefits of …
