How to watch Man City vs. Burnley Premier League live stream

Manchester City and Burnley face off tonight in their second competitive fixture in the Premier League's 'Project Restart'. Don't miss a kick by following our Man City vs Burnley live stream guide below. Pep Guardiola's side could delay Liverpool's Premier League celebrations, for now at least, with a victory over Lancashire rivals Burnley. Should Man City drop points in tonight's game, Liverpool could secure their first Premier League title in 30 years on Thursday against Crystal Palace. Man City strolled to victory in their first game back after the season was halted against a lackluster Arsenal side. That 3-0 win will fill the team with confidence as they head into tonight's clash at the Etihad. However, the Citizens will be without defender Eric Garcia after he suffered a concussion after a collision with City goalkeeper Edison in the last game. Burnley are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League fixtures following a 1-1 draw in their firs

Stadia's on-screen touch controls are equal parts amazing and terrible

More accessible, but not necessarily better. In the gaming world right now, all eyes seem to be glued to what Microsoft and Sony are doing with their next-gen consoles — and rightfully so. This upcoming generation of gaming looks to be hugely impressive, with both the Xbox Series X and PS5 promising experiences unlike anything we've had before. I'm just as excited about these consoles as everyone else, but I've also been keeping my eyes on what Google's been doing with Stadia. A little over a week ago, Google ushered in a plethora of important updates for its game streaming service. New titles were added to Stadia Pro (including the excellent SUPERHOT), users gained the ability to change their streaming resolution, and a new test program was launched that expands Stadia to virtually all Android smartphones. In addition to all of that, Google also added virtual touch controls — aka the ability to play Stadia games on your phone without the need for a physical c

HashiCorp to offer managed versions of its developer tools starting with Consul

HashiCorp is well known in the developer community for offering a slew of open source tools to help build and manage modern applications. Today the company announced a new cloud platform and plans to eventually offer managed versions of those tools, starting with Consul a tool for connecting and securing services across platforms. HashiCorp CEO Dave McJannet says that the pandemic has accelerated demand for cloud infrastructure, and he sees a growing role for his company in helping to build cloud native applications. The company offers open source and commercial versions of several popular tools including Terraform, Consul, Vault and Packer among others. These can run on premises or in the cloud, but McJannet says customers have been hankering for SaaS versions of these tools. “Our customers have told us that it’s a huge challenge running a central shared service like Consul. It requires them to keep it up and running, and they have asked for something they can consume from us wher

Virgin Galactic to buy seats on rockets and train private astronauts for Space Station trips

Space tourism company Virgin Galactic has just revealed a novel extension of their business mode, through a new agreement signed with NASA enabled by the Space Act Agreement. The arrangement will see Virgin Galactic purchase seats on spacecraft bound for the orbiting International Space Station, as well as provide training and supplies and resources for those individuals. Virgin Galactic is in the process of developing its own, sub-orbital space tourism program using its own spacecraft that will launch from a carrier airplane, but this deal would involve use of other spacecraft that have the capacity to reach orbit and the ISS – which Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo can’t do. The most likely candidate for where Virgin will be procuring those seats right now is SpaceX, although Virgin’s press release announcing the news does not mention the Elon Musk-led company. SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, which is currently docked at the ISS after its first ever successful astronaut-carrying launch last

TikTok joins the EU’s Code of Practice on disinformation

TikTok is the latest platform to sign up the European Union’s Code of Practice on disinformation, agreeing to a set of voluntary steps aimed at combating the spread of damaging fakes and falsehoods online. The short video sharing platform, which is developed by Beijing based ByteDance and topped 2BN downloads earlier this year , is hugely popular with teens — so you’re a lot more likely to see dancing and lipsyncing videos circulating than AI-generated high tech ‘deepfakes’. Though, of course, online disinformation has no single medium: The crux of the problem is something false passing off as true, with potentially very damaging impacts (such as when it’s targeted at elections; or bogus health information spreading during a pandemic). The EDiMA trade association, which counts TikTok as one of a number of tech giant members — and acts as a spokesperson for those signed up to the EU’s Code — announced today that the popular video sharing platform had formally signed up. “TikTok

Tesla’s big battery event and shareholder meeting tentatively set for September 15

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been hyping a potential battery day for quite a while now, and it looks like we should see it happen within the next few months – Musk said on Twitter that September 15 is the “tentative date” for the “Tesla Shareholder Meeting & Battery Day,” which will include the usual shareholder meeting as well as a tour of the automaker’s cell production system for the batteries that provide the power for its vehicles. The so-called ‘Battery Day’ has already run into a few delays, after originally being planned for April of this year. It’s been bumped to May, and subsequently June, but Musk’s latest timeline of September seems a lot more realistic given the current state of global affairs due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, as well as Tesla’s own complicated issues with its handling of COVID-19, local government shutdown orders and employee health and safety . Battery day has been modified from an earlier event planned to also include a powertrain component, but

Spotify App Could Include Music Video Player in Future Version

Spotify appears to be exploring the possibility of adding music videos to the streaming service's "Now Playing" app interface. Serial app de-coder Jane Wong discovered and enabled the feature, which currently consists of a tabbed interface for the Now Playing screen that offers different options for showing content while listening to tracks. The new tabs include standard album art, the new video player, and "Canvas," which is the Spotify feature that shows a looping video clip or animation in place of album art. Spotify has included video content before, but not on the scale that's presumably being considered here – showing full music videos, similar to how YouTube Music does. Spotify is finally working on a tab to switch between Canvas, Album Art, and Video (which is new!) pic.twitter.com/xOwvoSnBdV — Jane Manchun Wong (@wongmjane) June 20, 2020 As the graphic above mentions, Spotify is "still exploring" what to do with this new vid

New Safari iOS 14 Features Could Include Voice Search, Improved Tabs, and Guest Mode

Apple has several new features for its iOS Safari browser in the works, including voice search, translation integration, improved tabs, a "guest mode" option, and new iCloud Keychain functionality. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman rounded up the new features in development in a tweet , while making it clear that there was no guarantee that they would be revealed at this week's WWDC. Rumors of new Safari features have been trickling out ever since a leaked version of iOS 14 began circulating earlier this year. Notable among those rumors, Apple is said to be adding ‌iCloud‌ Keychain warnings whenever a password is reused as well as the ability for ‌iCloud‌ Keychain to generate two-factor authentication codes. Elsewhere, a built-in language translation feature would allow users to translate web pages without using a third-party app or service. The translation option is expected to be available for each website that's visited, but an automatic translation featur
