America's longest running late-night sketch comedy show is back for another season and we have all the details on how you can watch new episodes from season 47 of Saturday Night Live on TV or online.

SNL has entertained audiences in the US and around the world since the late-night sketch comedy show first debuted all the way back in 1975. Countless actors and celebrities have made a name for themselves on the show over the years including Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Bill Murray, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Chris Farley, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Chevy Chase and Eddie Murphy.

While Beck Bennett and Laren Holt left the show before the start of its 47th season, the rest of the cast from season 46 of SNL have stayed on. At the same time, Chloe Fineman and Bowen yang who were featured players last season, have been promoted to repertory status. SNL has also added three new featured players to its cast and actor and filmmaker Aristotle Athari, impressionist James Austin Johnson and surrealist comedian Sarah Sherman will be joining the show this season.

Owen Wilson will host the premiere of SNL's 47th season along with musical guest Kacey Musgraves who will be making her second appearance on the show. On October 9, Kardashian West will host SNL for the first time while Halsey will appear for the fourth time on the show as a musical guest. Then on October 8, Rami Malek will make his SNL hosting debut with Young Thug who will be making his first appearance as a musical guest. Former cast member Jason Sudeikis will return for his first appearance as a host of SNL on October 23 with Brandi Carlile making her musical guest debut.

In addition to being broadcast live on NBC, the network's streaming service Peacock will live stream the first four episodes from season 47 of SNL starting with the premiere on October 2.

New episodes of Saturday Night Live air every Saturday at 11:30pm ET/ 8:30pm PT on NBC and run for approximately 90 minutes each. Canadian viewers can watch the show on Global TV, UK viewers can catch it on Sky Comedy and Australian viewers can see it on Fox 8.

How to watch Saturday Night Live in the U.S.

If you live in the U.S. and have a cable subscription, you'll be able to watch new episodes of SNL every Saturday at 11:30pm ET / 8:30pm PT on NBC. You can also watch past episodes of SNL after they air on TV on NBC's website without even having to login but you will need to watch a few ads to do so.

Get a Saturday Night Live livestream in Canada

SNL fans in Canada can watch new episodes of the show on Global every Saturday at 11:30pm ET/PT as the network airs them at the same time they premiere in the U.S. You can also watch past episodes of the show online on Global's website but you will need to sign up for a free account to do so.

Watch Saturday Night Live in the UK

UK viewers with a Sky subscription, you can watch new episodes of SNL on Sky Comedy every Sunday at 3pm BST since the show airs quite late in the U.S.
