A blockchain powering the NFT game Axie Infinity was attacked, leading to one of the biggest crypto swipes to date In a brazen attack on popular video game Axie Infinity, hackers swiped $625 million in cryptocurrency, the game company’s executives said Tuesday, marking one of the largest crypto-thefts to date amid rising rates of such crime. The theft occurred last Wednesday, according to the company, when hackers infiltrated part of Ronin, the underlying blockchain that powers the game. As 2022 begins, more delays continue to hit the industry as developers truly begin to understand the effects the pandemic had on their work pipeline. Sony PlayStation has conducted a series of devices that have changed the way we play games and video experience .   In 1994 , PlayStation introduced us to the PlayStation console 1. As the console grew in popularity throughout Africa and the world and the company then decided , as technology has evolved, would release the PlayStation 2 in March 2000. The PlayStation 2 became the best-selling game console in history , selling more than 155 million units. In 2006, Sony unveiled the PlayStation PlayStation 3, which also grew in popularity in recent years . No signs of leaving the world of games ago, Sony PlayStation then unveiled the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 was released in 2013 and has currently sold over 18.5 million consoles. Fast forward 2014/2015 (depending on the country you live in) and Sony has now released the PlayStation TV . The PlayStation TV is essentially a micro - console, which allows you
