Windows 9 for a free upgrade for users of Windows 8

Windows 9 Multiple reports have suggested that Microsoft is considering the release of the next platform as a free download to certain existing Windows users. Some said that Windows 8 will get free Windows 9, while others claimed that the company is also considering some kind of special offers for existing users of Windows XP. A report published online Indonesian Detik said earlier this week that the president has confirmed MicrosoftIndonesia Andreas Diantoro this particular feature of Windows 9.

According Diantoro, updating Windows 9 will be available free of charge to all users of existing Windows 8 once it's released. Apparently, users can easily install Windows Update 9 after downloading from Microsoft, which is like Apple OS  updates have been released to Macs for a few years now. For what it's worth, some of the recent leak of Windows 9 did say that Microsoft already has a tool in place that will allow users to easily perform software updates.

It is not clear if other Windows users who are in the earlier versions of the operating system will have other special offers, and real prices for Windows 9 are not yet revealed. Microsoft would be interested in moving as many people, and is no longer supported, Windows XP and Windows provide 9 as a free download can be a great incentive for some.

Microsoft will unveil Windows 9 and will soon release a technical preview of it.
