Does Dell's XPS 13 (9300) come with a digital pen or stylus?

Best answer: Unfortunately, the Dell XPS 13 doesn't come with a digital pen. Additionally, it isn't compatible with any active pen you can buy, either. However, it's still an incredible device.

The Dell XPS 13 and digital pens

While it's always nice for laptops to come with digital pens, the Dell XPS 13 sadly does not. It also isn't compatible with any, either, so you're out of luck if you were hoping that you could use the device with one. That being said, the Dell XPS 13 does have display options with basic touch, so you can use your fingers or a non-active stylus for touch control if you want.

Why you should still get the Dell XPS 13

While the lack of a digital pen (as well as support for one) is a little disappointing, it's hardly a reason to turn away from the Dell XPS 13. Between its gorgeous 4K anti-glare touch display, incredibly competent 10th Gen Intel CPU options, and its dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, the Dell XPS 13 is easily one of the best laptops around in terms of hardware fundamentals. In addition to these three knockout features, the device also comes with strong Intel Iris Plus graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage — all of which will please folks who care about reliability. The speakers are fantastic, too, and the laptop comes with a camera and fingerprint reader for Windows Hello.

In terms of physical design, the Dell XPS 13 is also a work of art. Its 2.8 lbs weight is light as a feather, and the laptop is only just over a half-inch thick. Both of these factors make the laptop extremely easy to take with you wherever you go. The keyboard is comfortable and easy to use as well, and the device also has razor-thin bezels, which is something every laptop user is happy to hear. Overall, the Dell XPS 13 is a fantastic laptop that anyone will love.

There are dozens of great dining options within a few blocks of my home, yet I still end up ordering food through delivery apps four or five times per week. With the growing coronavirus pandemic closing restaurants and consumers self-isolating, it is likely we will see a spike in food delivery much like the 20% jump China reported during the peak of its crisis. With the food delivery sector rocketing toward a projected $365 billion by the end of the decade, I’m clearly not the only one turning to delivery apps even before the pandemic hit. Thanks to technology (and VC funding) we can get a ri

Slack’s new integration deal with AWS could also be about tweaking Microsoft

Slack and Amazon announced a big integration late yesterday afternoon. As part of the deal, Slack will use Amazon Chime for its call feature, while reiterating its commitment to use AWS as its preferred cloud provider to run its infrastructure. At the same time, AWS has agreed to use Slack for internal communications. Make no mistake, this is a big deal as the SaaS communications tool increases its ties with AWS, but this agreement could also be about slighting Microsoft and its rival Teams product by making a deal with a cloud rival. In the past Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield has had choice words for Microsoft saying the Redmond technology giant sees his company as an “existential threat.” Whether that’s true or not — Teams is but one piece of a huge technology company — it’s impossible not to look at the deal in this context. Aligning more deeply with AWS sends a message to Microsoft, whose Azure infrastructure services compete with AWS. Butterfield didn’t say that of course
